IPROTECT Access Control Cloud

I transformed the decade-old IPROTECT system into a modern cloud-first platform that streamlines access management across multiple sites and tenants. By focusing on user-led innovation, I introduced a Self Check-In feature that empowers visitors to register and gain secure entry independently, reducing administrative overhead and enhancing user autonomy. To serve diverse audiences, I embedded enhanced usability and accessibility from the ground up, implementing screen reader support, high-contrast modes, and intuitive navigation patterns.

IPROTECT Access Application

I worked on various updates for the IPROTECT Access Mobile App, focusing on features such as Scheduled Background Mode, refined to improve operational efficiency and overall user satisfaction, and adding a toggle for switching background scanning on or off.

Mobile Access Control: Your phone becomes a credential. Tap on a reader to unlock doors with secure Bluetooth
Centralized Permissions: Organizations manage and assign personalized digital keys, set access windows, and apply user-specific restrictions from the app
Data Privacy & Security: Profiles and credentials are stored securely on the device; all communications are encrypted to meet GDPR requirements
Custom Settings & Modes: Users can enable “Scan & Go” or “Office Mode” for DOM locks, and optimize performance for devices like Sirius iX10
